Dark Voyager Review

Dark Voyager ReviewIf you haven't already picked up on it, Fortnite is a very popular online video game. A lot of people play it each day to pass the time and are eagerly anticipating the next instalment in the franchise. If you haven't heard of the main story yet, let me sum it up for you. It revolves around the game of footnote, a hybrid of several different genres which actually sounds quite cool, and also, potentially challenging. What makes Dark Voyager so different from other similar games? Well, it's the 'scale' of the game, in terms of the character you control. You'll have to use your dog, Catman, to scale high buildings, and go up and down ladders (although you will probably want to conserve energy for your motorcycle), which, I must say, is not the most attractive way to progress through the game.Still, it's nice to be able to take on this challenge, and it takes some of the difficulty out of playing the game. It also really adds a sense of atmosphere, as you'll have to find your own way through the world, no matter how much of a challenge it might be. For example, if you're trying to get into the lighthouse, you can just ride your motorcycle to the top, but if you're trying to get to a building or something else in the city, you'll need to have a more organized approach. As with all of the previous instalments in the series, the game is a bit less challenging than it used to be. As it was originally developed, the game was intended to be played at higher levels, but after the game's success, it has been ported over to play at lower levels, making it more accessible to players. In fact, that shouldn't hurt the challenge factor, because most of the game isn't actually about fighting. The main story is about exploring the world, figuring out the way around each location, and maybe also finding some hidden surprises. Now, although Dark Voyager is very dark, it doesn't feel quite as creepy as it used to. I don't think this is necessarily a bad thing, as it's more of a straightforward story, rather than one where you'll be doing things that will make you crazy! You'll be able to complete each mission in a few minutes, so the tension is never really there.Overall, Dark Voyager is a fun game that I really recommend, especially for people who like challenges. I believe that most people who like the game will probably end up playing it, because it's so challenging, and because it's just so different from the rest of the others.
